Grayson Man At Large In Fatal Shooting Of Woodstock Man

GRAYSON, GA β€” A 19-year-old Grayson man is wanted after police say he shot and killed a 38-year-old Woodstock man Sunday in the driveway of a home at Roseberry Lane in Grayson.

The man, identified as Christian Houston, is at large and is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of Rodrell Dobson, police said.

Houston is being charged on suspicion of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, police said. He is also wanted on an outstanding simple battery warrant from a May incident, police said.

The shooting happened around 12:15 p.m. Sunday, when Dobson arrived at the home to pick up a family member. Houston met Dobson outside and shot him in the driveway before going back inside the home, police said.

The SWAT team was called in as police believed a gunman may be barricaded inside. Police said after several hours, officers discovered the suspect was no longer inside of the home.

Houston's location was unknown as of Monday afternoon. Police did not identify a motive in the shooting. Dobson died from his injuries, police said.

Gwinnett Police's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit is leading the probe in the case.
