Grayson's Agboola Begins Basketball Career as a Dean College Bulldog

Grayson Resident Shay Agboola heads to Dean College to join the Bulldogs in the upcoming basketball season.

Freshman Shay Agboola of Grayson is expected to help lead the Bulldogs to success as he kicks off his collegiate basketball career at Dean College in Franklin, Mass. next month. Early November is the beginning of the new basketball season.

In a press release, officials from Dean College Bulldogs reported the basketball team finished last season with a winning record of 14-11. The campus is reportedly buzzing about the program introducing some refreshing youthful energy for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. A strong recruiting season will allow the Bulldogs to showcase some freshman talent recruited from across the country, all under the leadership and direction of first-year head coach Rich Fazzi. Agboola is expected to be a large part of the equation for success for the Bulldogs this season, Fazzi said.

“Shay Agboola is a ferocious rebounder that will provide energy on both sides of the floor,” he said.
