Gwinnett Fire, Emergency Services To Hold 9/11 Remembrance

Join public safety personnel from around Gwinnett County to remember the victims of the terror attacks.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – The Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services will hold a brief 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11. The ceremony will take place at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial located in the front parking lot of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center.

Join public safety personnel from around Gwinnett County to remember the victims of the terror attacks 17 years ago and to honor the brave men and women in public safety positions who risked, and all too often, sacrificed their lives to save others.

The ceremony will include remarks, a presentation of colors, and a ceremonial wreath laying by a combined public safety honor guard. Representatives from public safety agencies and the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will reflect on the events of September 11, 2001.
