Gwinnett Gladiators Donate Bears to Loganville Kiwanas for the Child Advocacy Center

The center serves child victims of physical and sexual abuse. The bears and stuffed animals will be used to provide comfort to children who have suffered a traumatic event.

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Loganville had the help of the Gwinnett Gladiators recently in collecting teddy bears and other stuffed animals for A Child's Voice Child Advocacy Center. The donated items were turned over to representatives of the center at the April Kiwanas Club luncheon in Loganville on Tuesday.

According to Amy Greenway of Kiwanas, the Child's Voice Child Advocacy Center provides forensic interviews and exams of children where there has been allegations of physical or sexual abuse. The center provides a child friendly environment to conduct the interviews and the bears and stuffed animals will be used to provide comfort to children. The stuffed animals were collected during the Gwinnett Gladiators annual Teddy Bear Toss game and a representative was on hand for the Kiwanas to hand them over to the center.

The Child's Voice Child Advocacy Center began at the Loganville Ministry Village and recently located a new building in Social Circle. The center provides services to families in Walton and Newton counties
