Already Georgia’s Gatorade Player of the Year and Butkus Award winner, he heads to Texas with a strong chance to see the field early as a freshman.

Gwinnett parents who fought redistricting plan inspire district to change course (wsbtv.com) — Loganville’s Central Park neighborhood just won a major reprieve in Gwinnett County’s school redistricting battle, keeping families in the Grayson cluster after months of organized pushback. Parents from Central Park, Bennett Farm, and Eleanora convinced the school board to pull their neighborhoods from a plan that would have shifted them to Archer schools, while officials now talk about a five-year communication plan for future changes.
   

4. Berry College announces local students on Fall Dean's List (monroelocal.org) — Loganville families can celebrate several local students who made Berry College’s Fall Dean’s List, including Great Abhieyighan, Cheyenne Anderson, and Mallory Johnson. These students earned at least a 3.5 GPA while carrying full course loads at the Rome-based liberal arts college.
