Felony Murder, Assault Charges For Accused Shooter: Police
One man is dead and another is charged with felony murder after a Wednesday night shooting at an apartment complex on Beaver Ruin Road.
UPDATE: Gwinnett County police have identified the shooting victim as Illijah Ayala-Bracken, 28. Detectives arrested Aaron Taylor, 31, in connection with the shooting. Taylor has been charged with aggravated assault and felony murder.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett police are investigating a shooting death that occurred late Wednesday night at an apartment and townhome complex on Beaver Ruin Road.
When officers arrived at the Grove at Stonebrook Apartments in Norcross after 11 p.m., they found the male victim in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. They arrested another man with a firearm, according to a spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Gwinnett detectives believe a fight between the two men led to the shooting, and they’re investigating it as a homicide.
