Johnny's Pizza Helping Raise Money for Family of LCA Coach Jerry Helms

The Loganville Christian Academy family recently lost one of their own – football coach Jerry Helms.

“He left behind a wife, Pepper Helms, and three kids who attend LCA – Hayden (senior), Mallory (junior) and Hope (fifth grade),” said LCA Athletic Director Andre King.

Under the mantra of “Jerry Strong” the LCA family is raising money to help offset some of the expenses that the family incurred during the coach’s cancer treatment. One of the events takes place this week at Johnny’s New York Style Pizza in Loganville. From 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, residents are invited to dine at Johnny’s and 10 percent of all sales will be donated to the Jerry Strong charity.
