Johnson Walks with a Cross on Good Friday to Pay Tribute to Jesus this Easter

Jason Johnson, a former Loganville resident, commemorated Good Friday by walking with a Cross to honor the sacrifice of Jesus.

Former Loganville resident Jason Johnson walked down Peachtree Road in Atlanta on Good Friday to commemorate the sacrifice of Jesus.

"Two years ago ," Johnson said, adding he has walked with the cross more than 13 times to "share the ministry." One of the occasions was with a pink cross in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

If weather permits, Johnson said he intends to again walk to the summit of Stone Mountain on Sunday for the Sunrise Service on the top of the mountain.
