LFD Teach Restaurant Employees to Respond to Fire Hazard
Employees at Out Bak BBQ in Loganville were given opportunity to extinguish a fire.
On May 16th, members of Loganville Fire Department taught a Fire Extinguisher class at Out Bak BBQ, 85 Ray Road in Loganville. According to LFD officials, this class was hands on and allowed all the employees to each get the chance to properly extinguish a fire using ABC and Class K fire extinguishers.
An ABC extinguisher is used for ordinary combustibles, electrical fires and flammable liquids, and a Class K is primarily used in restaurants for kitchen and grease fires.
