GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Lithonia man who authorities say livestreamed a rant to social media in which he threatened to shoot a Gwinnett judge, kill cops and shut down the courthouse is behind bars Monday.
Micquel Deandre Gay, 36, faces multiple charges in connection with a 24-minute live video he posted Thursday, according to Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Deputy Ashley Castiblanco.
In the video, according to the sheriff’s office, Gay threatened to shoot a Gwinnett judge who refused to end his probation, then extended his threat to all active employees of the criminal justice system. Gay added that his threats were “real and valid.” After threatening multiple law enforcement and public officials, Gay then demonstrated how he would use his gun, the sheriff's office said.
