Loganville Church Accepting Gifts for Operation Christmas Child
Drop off shoebox gifts at Elevation Point Church next week.
Elevation Point Church in Loganville is serving as a drop-off location for shoebox gifts for Samaritan’s Purse's Operation Christmas Child next week.
Since its beginning in 1993, Operation Christmas Child has helped more than 100 million children living in desperate situations in 120 different countries.
Many families have created new holiday traditions by allowing their children to pick out items for the shoeboxes to give to the needy children. For many of these boys and girls, who are from 2 to 14 years old, the shoebox will be the first gift they have ever received.

In previous years, Loganville United Methodist Church had served as the dropoff location for the area. Other drop off locations and more information can be found on the Samaritan's Purse website. Those who give a box also can make a small donation towards shipping costs online to “follow their box” to see which country it goes to.
