Loganville Post Office Shut Down Over Suspicious Package
Officials are investigating a suspicious powder that came from an envelope.
Officials have cordoned off the to investigate a suspicious substance that was discovered this afternoon.
The initial complaint came from a postal patron who opened an envelope containing a white powder and immediately complained of a headache and lightheadedness, according to Loganville Police Chief Mike McHugh.
Officials were following standard procedure for potential hazardous materials situations, McHugh said. Gwinnett County fire and police and Loganville fire and police were on the scene.
