LOGANVILLE, GA — A Loganville suspect in his 60s was shot and killed Thursday night when a SWAT team responded to a domestic dispute at the home, according to Gwinnett County police.

Officers reported to a home on Templeton Lane Thursday night where they found a man armed with a gun. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate.

Police said more details will be released as they become available.

Police told WSB-TV that the suspect tried to stop his roommate from leaving the home. When officers arrived they found the armed man and the roommate in the driveway. He pointed a gun at police, the news station reported. An elderly woman was in the home, which is when the SWAT teams were called.
