Macy's To Open Smaller 'Concept Store' On Scenic Highway In Fall
Dubbed Market by Macy's, the smaller version of its eponymous department store will open in the space vacated by Office Depot.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Macy’s has announced that it plans to open a smaller version of its eponymous department store this fall in the spot vacated by Office Depot on Scenic Highway.
Dubbed Market by Macy’s, the new store format will occupy about 20,000 square feet at the Presidential Markets shopping center in Snellville. It will be one of two to open in metro Atlanta, the other planned for the southside in McDonough.
According to a news release from the company, Market by Macy’s will offer a “curated assortment of the best of Macy’s branded fashion, within an easy-to-shop and open environment. Product categories will include “men, women, kids, beauty, and giftables.” The store will also carry an expanded selection of beauty products.

An exact date for opening has not yet been announced.
The first Market by Macy’s location debuted in 2020 in Southlake, Texas. A second location was opened in Dallas-Fort Worth this past January.
