Man Charged With Shoplifting $800 Worth of WiFi Routers
A loss prevention officer chased the Loganville man when he allegedly left the store with a cart of the unsold goods.

A Loganville man was arrested recently for stealing $800 worth of WiFi routers from the local Walmart.
According to the Loganville Police Report, a loss prevention officer of the 4221 Atlanta Hwy. store saw the man leaving the store with unpurchased items in his cart around 1:40 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 24). He started running as he left the building with the cart, and the employee followed him as she spoke with the 911 operator.
The man abandoned the cart in the parking lot and tried to leave in a gray Oldsmobile, but authorities arrived and were able to detain him. The employee showed officers the cart, which contained four wireless routers in bags but no receipt.
The suspect was identified as Bobby Gene White, 24. White was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail on a shoplifting charge.
