Man Suspected Of Robbing Loganville Walgreens Arrested In Monroe

MONROE, GA — A man wanted in connection with the robbery of the Atlanta Highway Walgreens was arrested in Monroe Thursday night.

Moses Jerome Tidwell is a suspect in five separate robberies in Athens, Covington and Rockdale County as well as in Loganville.

The Walton Tribune reports that Tidwell was arrested at a home on Green Street by officers from the Monroe Police Department and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest came after the law-enforcement agencies posted video of the April 9 Walgreens robbery on social media and asked for the public’s help.

A similar incident — where the alleged robber jumped the counter and took money from the cash register — happened on April 11 at the Dollar General on South Broad Street in Monroe. At the time, though, police were reluctant to link the two robberies officially, according to The Walton Tribune.
