New Low-Score Inspection Record Set By Gwinnett Food Operation
Four Gwinnett restaurants and food-service operations were rated unacceptable this week. One of them set a new record for lowest 2021 score.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Now that pandemic restrictions are being relaxed and restaurants are reopening, are you thinking of going out for a bite to eat? Then check out these inspection scores for restaurant and food-service operations conducted over the last week in Gwinnett County.
Most of the 17 restaurants and food-service operations inspected scored an A, with four operations rating a perfect 100. One restaurant that previously had been rated "unacceptable" — Teriyaki Box in Lawrenceville — was among the restaurants with perfect scores.
However, four restaurants and food-service operations — BurgerIM, Frontera Mex-Mex Grill and Homewood Suites in Norcross and Zoe's Kitchen in Snellville — scored less than 70 and were deemed "unacceptable." In fact, the food-service operation at Homewood Suites on Technology Parkway set a new record for lowest score so far in 2021, scoring only a 39. (The previous low record had been 40.) Those four operations have direct links to their inspection reports with their listings below. Restaurants with low or failing scores are typically given a second chance and re-inspected a week or so later.
