Helen Murphy, age 86 of Loganville, formerly of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

A member of Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Murphy was retired from Gwinnett County Tax Assessor’s Office, and Gilmer County Tax Assessor’s Office in Ellijay. She was a member of the Apple Valley Quilt Guild and was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Murphy. She is survived by: Brother & Sisters-in-law: Richard & June Grinstead, Seabrook, TX; Johnnie Sue Murphy Wallace, Lawrenceville; Jo Beth Murphy Lounsbury, FL; Former Son-in-law: Danny Ford & his wife Lyn and 7 Grandchildren.
