James R. Bentley, age 75 of Loganville, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Funeral Services was held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Hydes Chapel Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Sheppard, Rev. Earl Partain, & Brother David Owens officiated. Burial followed at Hydes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Bentley had been a member of Hydes Chapel Baptist Church for 46 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Bentley, in 2008. He is survived by his Daughters: Marie Johnson, IN; Cindy Myers & Raul Carreno, Loganville; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Charles & Evelyn Bentley, Loganville; Clomer & Carolyn Bentley, Lawrenceville; David & Renee Bentley, Monroe; Anthony & Susan Bentley, Marietta; Guy & DeeDee Bentley, Auburn; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Patricia & Golden Day, Auburn; Gladys & M.C. King, Lilburn; Diane & Jesse Shumate, Auburn; Grandchildren: Ashley Myers, Angel Carreno, Travis Johnson, Erica Johnson, Dustin Johnson; Great Grandson: Isac Myers; Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
