Grayson Teen Dead After Shooting At Kroger Shopping Center

A Grayson teen is dead and another wounded after a shooting Monday night in the parking lot of the Kroger shopping center in Grayson.

UPDATE: Gwinnett detectives have identified the deceased as Orbit Pough, 17. Family members identified him to Patch as a rising senior at Grayson High School. Jaiden Williams, 17, was shot and taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — One man is wounded and another man dead after a shooting Monday night in the parking lot of the Kroger shopping center in Grayson.

When Gwinnett County police arrived at about 9:30 p.m., they found one man dead and another man with gunshot wounds in the shopping center’s parking lot, located at the intersection of Grayson Highway and Rosebud Road. The wounded man was taken to an area hospital.

The shooting is believed to have followed an altercation and is being investigated as a homicide, said Gwinnett police spokesperson Cpl. Ryan Winderweedle.

The identify of both men is being withheld until family can be notified.
