• Recent 2027 IU basketball offer recipient Marcus Curry, Jr. visiting later this month (thedailyhoosier.com) — A standout Grayson High School guard from Loganville, Marcus Curry Jr., has picked up a scholarship offer from Indiana and will visit the Hoosiers on Dec. 20. The 6-foot-5 scorer, who averaged nearly 18 points last season, already holds offers from several major programs, putting Loganville hoops firmly on the national recruiting map.
   

• MPD Reports: Juvenile arrested and transported to youth detention center after allegedly pulling a gun and placing it to the back of another juvenile (monroelocal.org) — Monroe police reports from late November include several incidents that connect back to Loganville, including officers coordinating with Loganville Police to recover a lost wallet and a family member driving an intoxicated man there to cool off. The most serious case involved a juvenile allegedly pulling a handgun on another teen at Monroe’s Walmart, with Walton deputies later arresting the suspect juvenile in Loganville.
