Paul Broun's Campaign to Send Supporters 'English: The Official Language of the USA' T-Shirt

Those who donate at least $25 will receive a shirt.

Paul Broun is giving residents in the 10th Congressional District an incentive to support his campaign for a U.S. Senate seat — those who donate $25 or more will receive a T-shirt that reads, "English: The Official Language of the USA."Ā

Broun, who represents a portion of Gwinnett and all of Walton CountyĀ in the U.S. House of Representatives,Ā will seek the Senate seat currently held byĀ Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia), who does not plan to seekĀ re-election.Ā

"Our nation is on the brink of economic and social disaster,"Ā the donation page for Broun's campaignĀ reads. "President Obama and his cohorts in the Senate are bankrupting our country and couldn't care less about it. I will always stand up for our values, and I hope you will join me today."Ā

Those who wish to donate have the option to make a one time donation ranging from $25 to $5,200, or to make monthly contributions.Ā

Broun has several competitors for Chambliss' seat. RepublicansĀ who have announced plans to seek Broun's 10th Congressional District post in 2014Ā includeĀ Jody Hice, a minister and conservative talk show host,Ā State Rep. Donna SheldonĀ of Dacula,Ā Mike Collins, a businessman and son of a former congressman, party activistĀ Brian SlowinskiĀ andĀ retired Army veteranĀ Stephen Simpson.Ā
