UPDATE: SB Nation is reporting that the Pirates have settled on a deal with Grayson High School outfielder Austin Meadows for a reported $3.029 million.
Austin Meadows, a center fielder from Grayson High School and the ninth overall pick in the Major League Baseball draft, was expected to undergo a physical today, June 28, before moving forward in signing with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
