Police Charge 17-Year-Old With Snellville Murder
Police say the 17-year-old is accused of the murder of a 23-year-old in an incident they say was related to a robbery.
SNELLVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County police have arrested a 17-year-old on charges of aggravated assault and felony murder after finding a man with at least one gunshot wound dead on a Snellville road.
James Robertson Jr., 17, of Snellville, was arrested and charged with the murder of De'Lane Plummer, 23, also of Snellville.
Police say around 2:20 p.m Feb. 4, they responded to Hightower Trail and Donald Road on a call about a man injured on the road. Police arrived to find the man, later identified as Plummer, dead. They set up a crime scene and called the homicide unit.

Authorities arrested Robertson on Monday and charged him with murder.
Police believe the victim was familiar with Robertson and that the homicide was related to a robbery.
