Police Chase Ends in Arrest in Walton County

The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Jan. 3-5.

Zone 1
 
Burglary – Items were taken from a garage at a residence on Whitney Rd.
 
Dispute – Two subjects were involved in a verbal dispute at a residence on Squirrel Hollow over child custody.
 
Domestic Dispute – Two subjects were involved in a domestic dispute at a residence on Cannon Farm Rd. One of the subjects was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
 

Zone 3
 
Agency Assist – A subject was arrested after he was involved in a chase with Monroe Police Department and the Georgia State Patrol. The subject rammed a Monroe Police vehicle head on after he was boxed in by officers. The subject was arrested on Old Monroe Madison Hwy @ Blasingame Rd.

 
Zone 5
 
Suspicious Vehicle – Two subjects were found parked in the rear, undeveloped part of the Alcovy Bluffs subdivision on Brooks Trail. Walton County deputies advised them to leave the area.
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence off Richmond Place Way in Richmond Place subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to a residence off Maple Creek Avenue in Maple Creek subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
Extra Patrol – A white Cadillac was seen driving slowly in the area of the Highlands subdivision.
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to two separate alarm calls at a residence on Maddox Lane in the Preserve at Maddox Farms. All windows and doors appeared secure.


Zone 6

 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Harris Drive in Harrison Shoals subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
 
City of Monroe
 
Arrest – Two subjects were arrested on 4th Street in reference to outstanding warrants.
