Rape Suspect Sought By Gwinnett County Police

Gwinnett County Police detectives are looking for a Black male who they say sexually assaulted a woman in September on Pleasant Hill Road.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett authorities need the public’s help to identify a violent rape suspect accused of assaulting a woman on Pleasant Hill Road.

According to Gwinnett County police, a woman walking on the 2500 block of Pleasant Hill Road on Sept. 20 was grabbed from behind and attacked by an unknown male suspect. She was then dragged into the woods, where she was sexually assaulted and sustained other serious injuries.

The suspect was described to police as a Black male with dreadlocks, in his 20s or 30s. The suspect was wearing khaki pants and a white striped shirt, and he was carrying a backpack. A sketch artist working with the victim was able to create an illustration of the suspect.

Anyone who can help identify the suspect is asked to call Gwinnett County Police detectives at 770-513-5300.
