Rash of Burglaries, Entering Autos Investigated by WCSO

The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following theft and burglary complaints in the Loganville and surrounding area between Oct. 1 - 7.

Zone 1 

  • Theft – A lawn mower was reported stolen from a residence on Highway 138.
  • Stolen Vehicle – A grey Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from Chickadee Drive.

Zone 5 

  • A purse was stolen from a location on Bold Springs Road.
  • Entering Auto – A wallet and jewelry was taken from a vehicle on Karlee Blvd.
  • Burglary – A residence on New Hope Church Road was burglarized and several items were stolen.
  • Burglary – A residence was burglarized on Brookhaven Drive. A blue women’s bicycle was left nearby.
  • Burglary - A residence was burglarized on Westmoreland Drive.
  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Timber Trace Rd.

  • Found Property – A headstone was found on Hwy 81 after it was taken from a grave.

 Zone 7 

  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Pebble Place.
  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Pebble Place and a collection of assorted jewelry was taken.
  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Park Street and a purse was taken.
