Rash of Entering Autos Reported in Loganville Area in Recent WCSO Reports

A utility vehicle also was reported stolen from a residence on Buck Smith Road.

The following calls also were investigated by the WCSO between May 16 - 20, 2013.

Zone 1

  • Burglary – Entry was made to a business on Hwy 81 through a garage door. Nothing appeared to have been taken. Suspects have been named in theft.

  • Damage to Property – A mailbox was damaged on Hwy 278.
  • Firearms – A subject was cited on Whitney Rd. for discharging a firearm while intoxicated.
  • Suicide Threat – A subject threatened suicide on Hightower Trail.

Zone 3

  • Vehicle Accident – A motorcycle accident occurred on Snows Mill Rd. @ Dogwood Dell Rd. The driver was arrested in reference to two outstanding warrants.
  • Vandalism – A vacant residence on Nicole Court was vandalized.
  • Safety Check – Arrests were made during a safety check on Pannell Rd. @ Social Circle Fairplay Rd. Walton County deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle registration.
  • Burglary – Subjects were arrested for burglarizing a barn on Buck Smith Rd.

  • Firearm – A subject on Shoal Creek Rd. made a complaint about a firearm discharging. The area was checked with no contact. Extra Patrol requested.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bridgewater Rd. @ Partain Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle registration.
  • Animal Complaint – A 3-year old female was air lifted to Egleston Children’s Hospital after being attacked by a canine at a residence on Gratis Rd. The victim sustained several injuries to the head.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Perry Place Lane in Perry Place subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 5

  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Alcovy Bluff Rd. in Alcovy Bluff subdivision. A firearm and electronics were taken from the vehicle. The vehicle was unsecured.
  • Suspicious Person – Two white males on a golf cart were seen in Providence Club subdivision. They were advised to leave the property.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Stewart Lake Rd. in Stewart Lake subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
  • Safety Check – Arrests were made during a safety check on Etchison Rd. Walton County deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle registration.
  • Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Tanners Bridge Rd. in reference to subjects riding 4-wheelers.
  • Safety Check – Arrests were made during a safety check on Loth Wages Rd. @ Bold Springs Rd. Drugs were recovered.
  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Arbor Rd.

Zone 6

  • Trespassing – Multiple residents in Annslee Lakes subdivision complained about several subjects trespassing near the Quarry. Contact was made with approx. 20 –25 persons with only one living in the subdivision. The subjects were escorted off the property.
  • Safety Check – Arrests were made during a safety check on Johnson Rd. @ Green Rd. Walton County deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle registration.
  • Entering Auto – Two vehicles were entered on Yorkshire Court in Yorkshire Estates. Electronics were taken from the vehicles. Both vehicles were unsecured.
  • Entering Auto – Three unsecured vehicles parked at a residence on Yorkshire Court in Yorkshire Estates were entered. Electronics were taken from the vehicles.
  • Fireworks – Subjects on Brooks Lane were warned about shooting fireworks in the area.
  • Firearms – A discharged firearm was heard in the area of Harvest Way.
  • Loud Music – A complaint was made about loud music being played in the Harrison Shoals Rd. area.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Green Rd. @ N. Sharon Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle registration.
  • Area Check – Entering autos were reported in this zone and juveniles have been named in the thefts. No contact was made with any juveniles.
  • Prowler – A resident on Anslee Circle heard the doorbell to their residence ring. The area was checked by deputies with no contact.
  • Entering Auto – An unsecured vehicle was entered on Yorkshire Court in Yorkshire Estates. Electronics were taken from the vehicle.
  • Burglary Report – Two bicycles and a scooter were taken from a garage at a residence on Oakland Lane in Oakland Brook subdivision. Two suspects have been named in the thefts.
  • Entering Auto – Electronics were stolen from an unsecured vehicle on Yorkshire Court in Yorkshire Estates. Juveniles are suspected in the theft.
  • Found Property – Two bicycles and a scooter were reportedly discarded at the entrance of Yorkshire Estates. The owner, who had reported them missing, retrieved the items.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Wesleyan Lane in Cevera Lakes subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Sleepy Hollow Rd. in Westchester subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
  • Vehicle Accident – A vehicle accident occurred on Youth Monroe Rd. @ Raymond Drive.
  • Damage to Property –Mailboxes were damaged on Dove Drive. Extra patrol requested.
  • Theft – A utility vehicle trailer was taken from a residence on Buck Smith Rd.

Zone 7

  • Extra Patrol – Juveniles were reportedly riding four-wheelers without helmets on Briscoe Drive. Extra patrol requested.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Stewart Lake Rd. in Stewart Lake subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
  • Burglary – A subject reported that his vacant residence was broken into. A sink was missing from the residence. The subject who complained was later arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Cannon Farm Rd.
  • Theft – A subject reported that after leaving a wallet at a convenience store, surveillance cameras showed a white female taking the wallet from the front counter. The female was identified. The wallet was later returned with the cash missing.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Stewart Lake Rd. in Stewart Lake subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
