CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: October 28, 2015

Zone 1
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Old Monroe Madison and Pleasant Valley. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Suspicious Vehicle- In the area of Hightower Trail and Whitehead Road motorist reported a suspicious vehicle in the area unable to maintain lane. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Nothing Reported.

Zone 3
Stolen Vehicle- A residence in the area of Old Monroe Madison Highway complainant reported their 2015 Polaris Ranger was taken from location in the late night time or early morning hours. Vehicle entered into the national database.

Trespassing- A residence in the area of Clearwater Drive homeowner reported an unknown subject was on their property after noticing tire tracks in their yard. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Zone 5
Theft- A residence in the area of Arbor Road homeowner reported several items taken from the residence.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Bold Springs Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Buster McCullers was arrested at a residence in the area of Highway 11 for Simple Battery and Criminal Trespass following a dispute.

Zone 6
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 20 and Creekwood Trail. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Wesleyan Lane homeowner reported an unknown subject came on their property and cut down a tree.

Zone 7
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area Guthrie Cemetery Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill Road and Youth Monroe Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in Reference to Safety Check:

  • Nicholas Siggers was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Drugs Not In Original Container, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects and Possession of Marijuana.
