CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: August 27, 2015

Zone 1
Suspicious Vehicle- At Liberty Hill Baptist Church subject reported a white Honda Accord on location. Contact made with the driver. Everything okay.

Arrest- Frank Lucas was arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County in the area of Highway 138 and HD Atha Road following a traffic stop.

Zone 2
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Hawkins Academy Road in reference to an ongoing issue with a white Honda speeding in the area.

Prowler- At a residence off Hancock Road subject reported seeing people in their yard. Deputies checked the area. No contact.

Zone 5
Firearm- At a residence off Double Spring Road subject reported seeing a dark colored truck up and down the roadway and heard possible gun shots. No contact with the suspect.

Damage to Property- At a residence off Highway 11 subject reported they were in a hit on a prior date.

Zone 6
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Road and Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Recovered Vehicle- At a residence off Ho Hum Hollow Road subject reported a stolen dirt bike on location. Dirt bike was located with the VIN number filed off.

Theft- At a business off Highway 78 subject reported three catalytic converters were taken off vehicles.

Tresspassing- At a residence off Walker Bennet Road subject reported two male juveniles at their barn. No contact made with suspects.
