Washington Farms Strawberry Fields in Loganville Are Back in Berry

Strawberry picking season is back in operation at Washington Farms in Loganville. People were out this week filling containers with fresh, ripe strawberries.

People are encouraged to phone and check before heading out, just to make sure the fields weren't picked out the previous day. 

Washington Farms has two locations, one on Highway 20 between Loganville and Grayson and another one in Watkinsville. Check the website for details, including recipes for all things strawberry - jams, pies, smoothies and even homemade strawberry ice cream.
