Suspect In Gwinnett Hijacking, Kidnapping Arrested: Police
An Atlanta man was arrested Tuesday in connection with hijacking and kidnapping a woman and her infant son from a Duluth convenience store.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Authorities have arrested an Atlanta man accused of kidnapping a mother and her child when he hijacked their car from a Duluth convenience store.
Quinton Antonio Rogers, 42, was arrested Tuesday by Gwinnett County police with help from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office. Rogers, who was identified by detectives through unspecified physical evidence, is charged with hijacking a motor vehicle and two counts of kidnapping. He’s being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.
Rogers’ arrest came after what authorities believe was a random attack in August on a woman and her 1-year-old child at an Exxon station on Boggs Road. After demanding money from the woman and punching her in the face, the suspect forced her into the back seat of her car and hijacked it.
