Thief Swipes Credit Cards From Cars Parked In Gym Lot: Police

Police are looking for a man who swiped credit cards out of cars at a gym parking lot and charged $1,700 on them.

SUGAR HILL, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department is looking for a man who swiped credit cards out of cars at a gym parking lot and charged $1,700 on them.

On Sept. 26 an entering auto occurred at the LA Fitness located at 6025 Cumming Hwy in Sugar Hill. Later that day the victim’s stolen credit cards were used at two Walmart locations within Gwinnett County by a man caught on camera, according to police. The suspect charged almost $1,700. After fraudulently using the stolen credit cards, he left in a Red or Maroon SUV with a black hood.

The suspect is described as 25-30 years old, and heavy set with some facial hair.
