Time To Check In On Georgia's Newest (Known) Eagle

Take a look live.

The Berry College Eagle Cam has been focused on the little but growing eaglet since its birth in February, and the streaming video now often features a solo act.

While the new eagle often shares the nest with a parent, it seems left alone more than ever. Mostly it tends to stand up and then collapse onto its belly.

The baby eagle was born in a nest in a tall pine tree near the Steven J. Cage Athletic and Recreation Center in February right near the wilderness "restaurants" of Berry quarry, Oostanaula River and Garden Lakes, where fish and coots are gathered for feeding.

The college says this is the only live, streaming video camera of a bald eagle nest in Georgia.
