U.S. Army Veteran Passes Away in Loganville

Ivey Pete Davis, 64, died Thursday.

Ivey Pete Davis, age 64, of Loganville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Allan Madden will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at Heritage Memorial Park in Milledgeville.  

A U.S. army veteran and a retired telecommunications technician, Davis was a member of Bay Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Oasis Sunday Mixers Bowling Team.

He is survived by: wife, Fran Davis, of Loganville; children: Brandi and Christopher Dzikowski, of Lawrenceville; Amber and Mike Howard, of Pooler, Ga.; Michael and Allison Raleigh, of Pierre, South Dakota; brother: Tom Davis, of Illinois; sister: Karen Davis, of Douglasville; and grandchildren: Grant & Reid Dzikowski, Abigail, Kaitlyn and Wesley Howard, and John & David Raleigh.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, located at 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Ga. 30052. 770-466-1544.
