UPDATE: Walton County Schools Vote on Transfer of LMS Principal
Results of the vote will be posted on the Walton County Board of Education website Wednesday, Oct. 3.

UPDATE: Information is not yet posted on the site, but Kim Embry, spokesperson for WCPS confirmed that former principal of LMS, Russell Brock, has been approved for a transfer to head up WCPS maintenance department.
Walton County Board of Education members voted Tuesday on whether to accept the request of Loganville Middle School principal Russell Brock to take the position of director of maintenance. Brock requested the transfer after he stepped down as principal of LMS citing "personal" reasons. Walton County Public School officials, however, said in a released statement that concerns involving the LMS administration were brought to their attention. They declined to say what the concerns were, but said it was mutually agreed by both the system and school administation that the move was in the best interest of the school.
The decision regarding the transfer was discussed in executive session and then voted on in a Special Called meeting before Tuesday's work session. Board members said the decision would be posted on the BOE website on Wednesday morning.
