CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: November 2, 2015

Zone 1
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Walnut Avenue and Leone Avenue. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 3
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 78 and Jacks Creek Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 78 and Bradley Gin Road. Unknown injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 4
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Partain Road and County Line Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Burglary- A business in the area of John Stowe Spur business owner reported a white male forcefully entered a trailer on location and took several items. Still under investigation. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Arrest- Herman Fillingim was arrested in the area of Mountain Creek Church Road for Driving Under the Influence following a suspicious vehicle call.

Zone 5
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Bold Springs Road and Nicholsville Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Bentley Road and Highway 81. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Bay Creek Church Road and Bo Boss Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Identity Theft- A residence in the area of Wood Valley Drive complainant reported an unknown subject had stolen their identity opening several credit cards in their name and made several large purchases.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Road and Highway 81. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests or citations issued in reference to this Safety Check.

Zone 6
Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Atkinson Road and Saddlebrook Drive in reference to an unknown individual walking down the road in a hoodie with black and white striped pants in the rain. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Ho Hum Hollow Road. No life threatening injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Timothy Reece and Robert Ellis were arrested in the area of Highway 81 for Possession of Schedule II Drugs and Drugs Not Kept in Original Container following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Duane Williford was arrested at a residence in the area of Castlewood Drive for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Walton County.

Zone 7
Arrest- Derrick Massey was arrested in the area of Highway 81 for Driving Under the Influence, Driving on Suspended License, and Unsecured Load following a call about a vehicle leaving tools in the roadway.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Highway 11 and Frost Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 3
Arrest- Jonathan Kirk was arrested at a residence in the area of Bethany Church Road in reference to an outstanding warrant out of Newton County.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Mount Paran Chruch Road and Highway 11. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 4
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Shoal Creek Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 5
Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Thompson Mill Road homeowner reported their an unknown subject had driven on their property and rutted their yard as well as vandalized several items on location.

Identity Theft- A residence in the area of Ridgewood Road complainant reported possible identity theft went an unknown individual called claiming to be with a creditor and requesting funds on a credit card they had not applied for.

Arrest- David Wolf was arrested at a residence in the area of Highway 11 for False Imprisonment, Cruelty to Animals, Simple Battery, Simple Assault, and Criminal Trespass following a dispute.

Zone 6
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Road and Highway 81. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

  • Lyle Smith was arrested for Driving on Suspended License and an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.

Prowler/Arrest- Brandon Overturf was arrested at a residence in the area of By Pass Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a suspicious person complainant.

Burglary- A residence in the area of Grady Smith Road homeowner reported a unknown subject entered their residence and stole several items.

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Fannie Thompson Road in reference to an unknown subject in camo hiding from cars passing by in the area.

Arrest- Mario Nevalo was arrested at a residence in the area of Spring Hill Drive in reference to an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County following a dispute.

Burglary- A residence in the area of Bay Creek Church Road resident in the area reported an unknown suspicious vehicle at a residence in the area. Deputies checked the area and noticed forced entry into the residence. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Spring Road and Double Springs Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in reference to Safety Check:

  • Alonso Monge-Rauda was arrested for Driving on Suspended License.
  • Alisa Dukes was arrested for Driving on Suspended License, Giving A False Name, and an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County.
  • Steven Harris was arrested for an outstanding Deposit Account Fraud warrant out of Walton County.


Zone 6
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Youth Monroe Road and Broadnax Mill Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Claude Brewer Road and Highway 81. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Irvin Drive homeowner reported a window in the residence had been damaged.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 20 and McCullers Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Road and Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in reference to Safety Check:

  • Daniel Brown was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and Open Container.
  • Dillion Morrow was arrested for Possession/Consumption of Alcohol by A Minor, Open Container, and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.
  • Keysha Dougherty was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, Drugs Not in Original Container (x2), and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
  • Robert Miller was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, Drugs Not in Original Container, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.


Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Rosebud Road and Escoe Drive. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in reference to Safety Check:

  • Matthew Hatlevig was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, {possession of Schedule II Drugs, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.


Zone 7
Harassment- A residence in the area of Sardis Church Road homeowner reported an unknown subject repeated puts rice in their mailbox. Extra Patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Rowe Road in reference to an unknown vehicle driving around the area in the late night time hours. Complainant reported suspicion due to recent burglaries in the area. Extra patrol requested in reference to the vehicle.

Arrest- Leah Arrowood was arrested at a business off Leone Avenue for four outstanding warrants out of Monroe Police Department following a suspicious person report.

Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Nunnally Farm Road reported an unknown vehicle drove onto their property and spun their tires in a circle causing damage to the yard.
