Walton County Sheriff's Office Warns of Suspicious Truck Following Juveniles

The Walton County Sheriff's Office issued an alert Thursday (Jan. 23) regarding a suspicious truck following two female juveniles. 

Here's what the message says: 

"In recent news, there have been reports made in the Gwinnett area in reference to a subject in a black pickup truck with tinted windows attempting to entice and kidnap children. The subject has been described as a white middle-aged male.

"We have received a report here in Walton County in reference to a subject in a black pickup truck, unknown type, following two female juveniles while they walked in the Henderson Ridge subdivision. When the two females started to walk fast, the truck sped up as well. The two females ran home and reported the information to their parents. When Walton County deputies searched the area the truck was not found.

"Please be mindful of this information. Be on alert of any suspicious persons or vehicles harassing children. Report any suspicious activity to 911 immediately."
