The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for the capture of Alfredo Capote, a Gwinnett County man sought as a "person of interest" in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend, Jockisha Brown.
Capote, 29, is accused of allegedly raping Brown at gunpoint after tying up her and her teenage son in April. Brown was found shot to death in her car on July 1. >>> Read more.

Cops Shoot Man Accused of Stealing Police Car
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer-involved shooting after a suspect allegedly stole a sheriff's deputy's patrol car and took police on a lengthy car chase.
A preliminary investigation indicates a deputy with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office responded to a call Saturday evening of a suspicious person, later identified as Lorenzo Leon Taylor, 32, of Mississippi. While the deputy spoke to a witness, Taylor allegedly jumped into the officer's patrol vehicle and fled the scene. >>> Read more.
