Kile Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife who was critically injured at Lake Lanier earlier in July, , according to media reports.
The entertainment website TMZ has reported that Tameka Raymond will be forced to take her son off life support as early as next month because his insurance coverage is about to expire. Citing sources, TMZ reported that Tameka Raymond can only keep her son, 11, on life-support as long as her insurance company agrees to pay, otherwise she doesn't have the funds to cover the enormous hospital bills.
This is a decision thousands of families make every day for a variety of reasons, but finances is usually one of the primary ones. Whether there is no insurance, insurance is about to run out, or just because it has become obvious that a life is no longer being saved, just sustained, there usually comes a time when this critical decision has to be made. Often doctors, hospital administrators and insurance companies have input in this decision. When the new health care regulations go into effect, it is likely the government too will have a say.
