Woman Arrested After Scamming Bank Out Of $2,500: Police
A woman has been arrested for scamming a bank out of $2,500, police say, after tips from the public.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A woman has been arrested after scamming a bank out of $2,500 after tips from the public, according to the police.
Brenda Scullark, 55, of Bronx, NY, is currently incarcerated at the Gwinnett County Detention Center, after police charged her with financial identity fraud
On Tuesday, July 17, a Scullark visited the Sun Trust bank at 3590 Club Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville. Scullark claimed to be a customer and withdrew $2,500 cash from an account belonging to a different woman who lives in North Carolina, according to police. The victim noticed the unauthorized withdrawal on her account and called her bank to report the fraud.

The detective learned that the woman presented a fraudulent North Carolina driver's license containing the victim's information but with the photo of the suspect.
After obtaining funds from the bank on Club Drive, another attempt to withdraw funds was made at a branch on Five Forks Trickum Road. This transaction was not completed.
