Woman Who Fell Off Dock At Lake Lanier Dies
The woman who fell into Lake Lanier early Friday morning has died.

LAKE LANIER, GA — Hall County Sheriff’s Office Investigators were notified Friday afternoon, that the woman who fell into Lake Lanier early Friday morning died.
Detectives believe the victim, identified as Agne Krutules, 40, of Atlanta, fell off of a boat at Z dock in Aqualand Marina off of Lights Ferry Road.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call at roughly 1:45 a.m. and discovered Krutules in the water. They pulled her from the lake and started CPR. Hall County Fire Services personnel also responded and took over life-saving efforts. The victim was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in critical condition.

According to the preliminary investigation, Krutules fell from the boat while the man she spent the evening with was talking to an Uber driver. The man, who rented a slip at the marina, returned to the boat and discovered the victim in the water. He held her head above the surface until deputies arrived. Investigators believe Krutules was in the lake for approximately six minutes.
While the incident remains under investigation, detectives do not suspect foul play. Their initial investigation indicated alcohol may have been a contributing factor to the victim’s fall into the water.

Krutules died Friday afternoon at the hospital. Her next of kin has been notified.
