  1. Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms have been asked to help the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office after thieves stole about 60 guns from a Macon-area pawn shop. On Wednesday, Apr. 5, two masked thieves were caught on surveillance cameras breaking into Howard’s Pawn & Jewelry store along Mercer University Drive. The suspects cut a large hole in a brick wall along the side of the store and then stole the guns. Officials discovered about 60 guns missing after they completed the inventory of the store over the weekend. (WSB Radio)
  2. Macon police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 700 block of Grosso Avenue on Sunday evening, Apr. 9. A 14-year-old girl was shot during a physical dispute and is now in stable condition at Atrium Health. (The Georgia Sun)
  3. Salvation Army of Greater Macon is raising funds through the "Driver 2 Support Golf Tournament" on Apr. 17 at the Brickyard Gold Club in Macon. The goal is to raise $25,000.000 for the non-profit. The event includes a four-man scramble, lunch, prizes, and a presentation about how the local non-profit helps the community. (WGXA.TV)
