On Tuesday, October 6, Bauerfeind USA will cut the ribbon on its new U.S. headquarters in Midtown’s Promenade building.
The event, which is expected to be attended by Bauerfeind USA CEO Gregory J. Vaughn, Mayor Kasim Reed, Gov. Nathan Deal and Bauerfeind AG head Hans Bauerfeind (grandson of the company’s founder), marks several significant milestones for the world’s leading manufacturer of orthopedic braces and athletic supports with medical-grade compression.

Thirty years ago this year, the company entered the U.S. market and chose metro Atlanta as its home. It was an unexpected move at the time, but since then German companies have opened more than 400 locations statewide that employ more than 22,000 Georgians.
Bauerfeind also is set to launch its products direct to consumers soon. Doctors and Olympians alike have known about the superior quality of Bauerfeind braces and supports for years, but the company is making the move into direct retail sales to athletes and weekend warriors across the country.
