Burglars Target Midtown-Area Clothes Store...Again
The smash-and-grab burglary at A Ma Maniere on Thursday morning was the second such incident in the last three months.

Atlanta police are investigating a smash-and-grab burglary at a Midtown-area clothing store, a familiar scenario to the store’s owners.
A Ma Maniere, in the 900 block of Marietta Street, was hit by burglars at approximately 3 a.m. Thursday. The three burglars allegedly threw a rock through the glass window and stole six Apple iPads, several boxes of tennis shoes and the cash register which contained about $700.00 in cash, according to an incident report.
Police collected blood evidence at the scene, the report said.

A Ma Maniere is no stranger to smash-and-grab burglars. In September, a car backed into the glass window and shattered it before seven black males piled out of two vehicles, another police report said. The suspects ransacked the store, stealing several clothing items from the rack on the ground level and a rack up on the balcony.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the store owner estimates that $15,000 worth of merchandise was stolen.
