Candler Park Fall Fest & Fun Run Set For Sept. 30

ATLANTA, GA -- The annual Candler Park Fall Fest & Fun Run is set for Sept. 30 in Midtown, Patch has learned. The family-friendly event will include races for all ages along with an arts and musical festival.

Those who participate in the 5K race will receive a Fall Fest 2017 T-shirt at the finish and -- get this -- free beer or a drink ticket to be redeemed at Fall Fest. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)

The event will begin Saturday, Sept. 30 at noon and continue through Sunday at 9 p.m. Admission to the festival is free.

In addition to a cool complimentary T-shirt and beer, runners will get a bib equipped with a My Laps disposable bibtag chip. Race bib tear-offs will also be able to be redeemed for a beer or non-alcoholic beverage at the event.
