Country Star Lifts Spirits of Sick Children in Atlanta

Children battling life-threatening illnesses at an Atlanta hospital got a visit from a very special guest on Friday.

Luke Bryan, country music star, stopped by the hospital and was greeted in the lobby by a small army of patients, WSB-TV reports. The musician joined patients in a sing-along and performed a song for the children and their families.

Social media reaction to Bryan’s visit was profound, with parents and patients alike taking to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to share photos with the musician. The Ryan Seacrest Foundation posted an album on Twitter sharing “awesome pics” of Bryan with smiling patients.
