The New York Mets and Atlanta Braves were scheduled to renew their rivalry at Turner Field early Thursday evening, but instead Mother Nature got in the way.

New York Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki recorded footage of flooding in the tunnel between the visitors’ clubhouse and visitors’ dugout on Thursday evening, with the humorous caption “What are we waiting for? Let’s play ball.” The New York Mets’ official Twitter account advised Plawecki to “grab 2 of everything in the clubhouse. The ark will be there shortly.”
It isn’t clear if Mets ace Noah Syndergaard was tasked with constructing said ark.

Surprisingly, the game started later that night and saw the Mets trounce the Braves 7-2.
