Midtown Powerhouse Female Exec Matching LifeLine Animal Gifts

LifeLine Animal Project received some holiday cheer thanks to Anisa Telwar Kaicker and Anisa International.

ATLANTA, GA -- LifeLine Animal Project, a nonprofit which cares for over 30,000 animals annually in its shelter and clinics, received holiday cheer early thanks to Anisa Telwar Kaicker and her team at Anisa International, who have pledged to support the organization with matching holiday donations for the seventh year in a row. Anisa will match every dollar donated – up to $50,000 – through December 31, 2018, making each donation count twice as much.

For example, a $250 donation will be doubled to $500, which covers the cost of caring for one homeless animal in the shelter.

“Anisa International’s generous matching grant is vital toward making our lifesaving mission a reality and caring for the 40 to 60 animals entering our shelters daily,” said Rebecca Guinn, CEO of LifeLine Animal Project. “We are grateful for Anisa’s passion and commitment to Atlanta’s animals.”

LifeLine Animal Project was founded in 2002 with the mission to end the shelter euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals. Since taking over management of both the DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services shelters in 2013, they have increased adoptions by over 300 percent. Additionally, they’ve performed over 120,000 low-cost or free spay and neuter surgeries, provide services to over 30,000 pets each year and offer free veterinary care and other resources to pets of people who need assistance, keeping pets out of the shelter and with the people who love them.

“Giving back is at the core of Anisa International because I believe we're only as great as the impact we have on those around us,” said Kaicker, CEO and founder of Anisa International. “That is why I have supported Lifeline Animal’s mission to help end the euthanasia of healthy, treatable animals in Atlanta for more than 15 years. With this year’s holiday match, you have the opportunity to save twice the lives of Atlanta’s most vulnerable.”
