Midtown Smoothie King Opening Doors Again

It looks like Smoothie King is taking the throne again at 10th Street and Piedmont Ave. in Midtown.

What Now Atlanta reports that, after closing three years ago when its lease at the space was up and wasn't renewed, the Smoothie King sign has gone back up. A contractor at the site told What Now that the smoothie spot will open June 15.

The website noted that other businesses that came into the space -- Repicci’s Real Italian Ice and Groovy Smoothie -- didn't make it.
